“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” ~Steve Jobs

sionThe Dream Was the Desire to Live To Tell the Story

Since the day I was born, I wanted to be a writer. It was in my soul. It was in my heart. Life took some wonky turns, and it most certainly had its way with me. As a result of circumstances beyond my control, the experience taught me to push my dreams aside for survival. The thoughts laid dormant as if they were collecting data and storing emotions that would be needed to fuel the dreams when it was time to come alive again. The fire was started, and here I am in the midst of it all ready to release my first solo book for teens with family drama and trauma. I am now in the creative fires of my heart, and my mental canvas has come alive in book form. My soul burning passion is born from my lived experiences. I crashed, I burned, and I rose from the ashes. I am telling you right now, right here, that you can be, do and have anything you desire if you believe you are worthy of having it. All you need is to fan the flames of your creative fires and go in the direction that is pulling you forward.

Your Dreams Matter Too

As I wrote this book, I have never felt more alone, yet connected to something greater than myself. I was alone is a physical form, but felt deeply entangled with the souls who, I feel, want me to tell my truth and use my voice to help those who are willing to set new goals in the aftermath of their own troubled lives. Sometimes we just need a little help along the way when we feel lost. Or, a warm voice to call to us when we are wandering around in the fog of circumstance. When doubt rears its ugly head, we need encouragement from those who also have the courage and strength to live for our dreams. Not everyone can be a cheerleader for your accomplishments, and that is okay. You will always have a deep connection to those who know YOU matter if you are seeking validation and guidance from the right sources.

Connect With Those Who Matter To You

Don’t waste your time trying to get others to see from your point of view. Do the work you need to do and stay true to your values and your core goodness. Be honest with yourself about where you are going. Take time to heal along the way, and most importantly, have patience! Your time will come, and it will be spectacular. Then they will see you, hear you and take notice of who you have become. In the meantime, prepare your mind, body, and soul for your success. Your victories are near. Stay humble and stay the course while making the necessary adjustments along the way. You got this!

JUST DON’T EVER GIVE UP, NO MATTER WHAT, DON’T EVER GIVE UP! YOU MATTER, I MATTER, WE ALL MATTER, AND OUR DREAMS ARE REAL. YOU CAN BE HEARD. YOU CAN BE VALIDATED. YOU CAN BE SEEN, BUT SOMETIMES YOU CAN ONLY BE SEEN BY THOSE WHO DARE TO LOOK.
