A Summer Post Card
"Your work is to discover your world and then with all your heart give yourself to it." ~Buddha
This summer has been the most creative, insightful, enlightening and inspirational time of my life. I have made amazing new friends and reconnected with ones that were always close to my heart, but drifted away until the time was right to reunite.
I have grown as a person, a woman, a mother and a seeker of light, truth, and authenticity. My soul winks at who I have become and my insecurities have transformed into limitless courage that confidently guides me through all the new adventures and opportunities that are presenting themselves, one after the other, in my life!
I have come to understand what the real definition of beauty is. I have also come to understand how to share love without limits, expectations, and fear. I love myself and that is where true love finds the light authenticity. I will never apologize for being strong, nor will I let anyone dim the light of my gained wisdom or the radiant beauty that tells the story of my experiences. I no longer hesitate to shine bright! I choose to live without guilt, repression or shame. I am open, alive, and ready to spread the wings I have rightly earned through the many years of meditation, prayer, study and solitude, otherwise known as my cocoon.
Thank you friends, loved ones, business associates, mentors, guides, advisers, sponsors, teachers, muses, men and women who value my experiences, and those who follow me on the journey of service to others. I am truly blessed! My life is enriched every day by those who find their own spirit light through my creative inspiration as I paint the world with words.
As the summer ends, I breathe into the new space that my soul calls home. As the children return to school, I will return to writing. I am publishing my forthcoming book, writing a grant for abundance, and developing a new program that will bond women of trauma through the process of abolishing mental poverty. All thrivers are deserving of a richly rewarding life, especially as the sensual and radiant beings that we are because of our experiences.
